Friends of NESST helps make that work possible.
By giving a small amount each month, Friends provide the reliable support we need to look after existing projects, explore new ideas and act when opportunities arise.
Helping good ideas take root
Our projects come in many shapes and sizes. They might begin with an unloved corner that could become a garden, a gap where a tree could grow or an idea for creating much-needed wildlife habitat.
Turning these ideas into reality takes practical resources as well as people’s time. Donations from Friends of NESST can help us buy plants, seeds, tools and materials, create and maintain habitats, and support activities that bring people together to learn about and care for their local environment.

Why regular support helps
Monthly donations give NESST a little more certainty. Knowing that regular support is coming in means we can plan ahead, continue caring for the places we have already helped to transform and be ready to respond to new possibilities.

There are many ways to be part of NESST. Some people volunteer at projects, attend events or contribute their knowledge and ideas. Others may care deeply about our work but have less time to take part practically.
Becoming a Friend offers another way to make a difference—from £3, £5 or £10 a month, or any amount that feels comfortable for you.
There are no tiers and no special benefits. It is simply a community of local people choosing to give a little regularly to help nature flourish.
