NESST has created a wildflower meadow and planted area on the corner of Randall Street and Hill Street. It was previously an area of grass. The Council, who own the land gave NESST permission to create the meadow.
Work on the meadow started in Autumn 2025.
A mounded area was created with the turf that was removed, sown with wildflower seed and planted with spring bulbs.
In spring 2026, the seeds are showing and the bulbs flowering.
The project was funded by Bramall Lane Foundation’s Green Team.
